Miss Winfield was a member of the Black Horse Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church, Warrenton.

Surviving is a brother, Col. Richard Marshall Winfield of Palo Alto, Calif. and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held this morning at 11:30 in the St. James Church and interment was in Woodville Cemetery. □
