THE GENERAL Educational Development (GED) Test, for persons who were once enrolled in school but who did not complete graduation requirements, will be given on Saturday, June 8, and Saturday June 15, beginning at 9 a.m, at the Warren County High School, Luray, Avenue, Front Royal. Attendance at both sessions is necessary to complete the entire battery of tests.
The tests, administered and supervised by the adult Education Service of the State Department of Education, are designed to measure the educational development of individuals who left school before graduation.
The battery of five examinations in English Composition, Social Studies, Natural Science, Literature and Mathematics are designed to measure the major generalizations, ideas, and intellectual skills that result from four-year high school curriculum.
