Mrs. Joseph Scherschel was sworn in Thursday as Assistant Registrar to the Rappahannock General Registrar, Mrs. Mary Cleverley. Both will attend a training course on the new computer system in Fredericksburg September 9 and 10.
COIN TOSS
Washinton Fire and Rescue organizations have initiated a new project for fund raising, a coin toss. Members of these units set up a coin toss on the highway whereby motorists may throw coins at a bulls eye painted on a white sheet. According to a unit spokes-" man, the first attempt during the Labor Day weekend was quite successful.
