Labor Day designates the end of summer and the closing of swimming pools. Mike Smoot of Washington takes a final plunge at South Wales Monday afternoon. This pool, managed by Julian Brown of Sperryville and Roger Flinchum of Washington, offered special membership to local Recreation and Youth Club members, and it was enjoyed by many.
