THE Rappahannock Planning Commission took no action at last week’s meeting on Charles Good’s proposed five-acre development on Route 522, north of Flint Hill. Good’s application for preliminary plat approval on his Mountain Slopes subdivision first came before the Commission at the February 17 meeting. The Planners had questions on the subdivision, the first since amendments were adopted to the county’s subdivision ordinance, and since neither Good nor the zoning administrator was present to supply answers, the application was tabled.
Good’s son and Mr. Harris, the engineer for the subdivision were present last Wednesday. However, an erosion and sedimentation control plan, missing from the application in February, still had not been submitted. County engineer Fanning Baumgardner reported that the plan had been partially prepared and agreed to meet with the subdivision’s engineer after the meeting, to work out additional required details.
