Utility Systems Inspector Duties include performing technical construction inspections of new public wastewater treatment, water and sewer facilities to ensure newly constructed wastewater treatment, water, and sanitary sewer infrastructure is durable, reliable and meets all specifications; providing utility location and protection by locating and marking utilities on permitted projects; and assisting the utility locating section as required. Position requires the ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.

Utility Systems Maintenance Worker Maintains water and sanitary sewer collection, transmission and distribution systems by installing and repairing pumps, valves and various control devices. Locate and inspect utility lines for breaks, infiltration and blockages. Collects water samples for testing. Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills required.
