The Warrenton Hunt will host a series of afternoon trail rides. Dates are: July 20 from Springview Farm; Aug. 3 from Shanagarry; Aug. 10 from the hunt kennels; and Aug. 24 from Merry Chase Farm. Light refreshments follow each ride. Details are at (540) 347-6083.

The second in the series of Old Dominion Hounds Pony Club schooling shows is scheduled for Sunday, July 20 at Windsor Lodge Farm in Flint Hill. Divisions include dressage “test of choice” and combined test divisions ranging from first timers through training level. The jumping phase includes a ‘^jumper derby” format combining show jumps with a short crosscountry.
