Elmar E. Foster, Sr., 92, of Front Royal, died Wednesday July 9, at Heritage Hall in Front Royal.
Mr. Foster was bom May 7, 1916, in Rappahannock County son of the late Jesse J. and Annie Newcomer Foster.
He attended Rappahannock County public schools. He was a correction officer for Virginia prisons, a retiree from Avtex Fibers after 38 years in the viscose department and was an independent shoe salesman for Mn™ & Knapp shoes. He was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Foster is survived by his wife Jean Lambert
