The Department of family Services is seeking quail tied applicants tor a Social Worker in Child Protective Services to assess and investigate complaints of child abuse and neglect and to assess according to State mandates and criteria. Provides intervention and coordinates services with other agencies. Maintains investigation reports and case notes. Prepares cases for court and works with attorneys. Must interact with families and other professionals to assure guidelines are followed. This position is subject to on call duty. Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field and 3 years of related experience. Masters Degree preferred. Ability to speak Spanish preferred. Microsoft office skills preferred.
