Driving school
The Potomac River Driving Association will host a weekend of beginner carriage-driving lessons Aug. 23 in Bluemont. Morning sessions cover harness and bitting, with the afternoon to cover reins mans hip, ground driving and whip handling. Sunday morning lessons cover carriage and cart types, and proper attire, with the afternoon devoted to actual driving.
