Hospice of the Rapidan periodically offers free training for persons interested in becoming volunteers and has scheduled its next training program on Monday, Oct. 20. This is a comprehensive program for people interested in volunteering with patients and their caregivers, and consists of a total of 21 hours, in seven 3-hour sessions, Training will take place at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 6903 Blantyre Road, Warrenton, from 1-4 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays beginning Monday, Oct. 20 and ending on Monday, Nov. 10.
