The Riot Hill Volunteer Rre Department is having a trail ride for the public on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 9-4 p.m. The new deadline to register will be Oct. 23, to allow more riders to sign up. We now have 48 pre-registered with more coming each day. The trails wilt be beautiful I Come and support the local Volunteer Rre Department and see the rare beauty of Rappahannock County! The 2nd Annual Marriott Ranch Benefit Trail Ride is at 12 noon on Sunday, Oct. 26 to be followed by a Grilled Chicken/Beef Lunch at 1:30 p.m. Cost for the 90-minute trail Ride and Lunch is $75 per person: participants will ride horses provided by Marriott. The event benefits The Blue Ridge Center for Therapeutic Horsemanship (BRCTH), a non-profit organization serving persons with disabilities in the northern Shenandoah Valley and located in Clarke County.
