Gadino Cellars has been awarded medals for all four wines entered at the prestigious American Wine Society Commercial Wine Competition.
The 2007 Dolce Sofia dessert wine received a Silver medal while the 2007 Pinot Grigio, 2006 Meriot and 2006 Viognier each received a Bronze medal. Results were announced on Nov. 9 at the conclusion of the AWS National Conference held in Sacramento, Calif. This represents the 22nd year that the international competition has been held.
The competition is considered unique in that all wine judges have successfully passed the AWS Certification Program which consists of rigorous training over three years covering analytical and sensory evaluation skills and
