Davidson's Department Store, which is next to the Stokes Building south, but separated by a 10-f6ot walkway also was pene trated by the acrid smoke fumes to some extent. No member of the Farmvillc Fire Department was injured dur ing the stubborn blaze. No assis tance from adjoining communi ties was summoned.
