She also spent several days as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. William Jones, of Martinsville. While there she attended the wedding of Miss Bet ty Louise Jones, a formrr college classmate. Mr. and Mrs. German Coving ton were hosts at a Christmas din. ner. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Covington, Miss Gill Moore, Mr. and Mrs. A W. Cov ington.' Judson Covincton and Dale Covington. Mrs. M. D. Morris spent a few days in Richmond visiting rela tives. Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis, of Norfolk, spent a few days here with releateives. Mrs. Judson Covington is a pa tient in Southside Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Covington and R. C. Woddall were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Love lace last Sunday. They also visit id Mr. and Mrs. Bill Covington. Misses Mattie Jane Swan and Mary Scott, of Lynchburg, recent ly visited Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Swan.
