Herbert M. Bryant, Wingina Farmer, Dies A funeral service for Herbert Matthew Bryant. CO. Winginia farmer, was held Sunday after noon at Bag by Baptist Church, Buckingham county. Burial was in the family cemetery. He died Friday, Jan. 2, at his home near Wingina. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lilly Stinson Bryant, two daugh ters. Mrs. Lena Watts, of Glad stone. and Mrs. Irene Booth, of Halifax: six sons. Roy. Raymond. Calvin, demon, Lanzy. and Allen Bryant, all of Wingina: 14 grand children: three sisters. Mrs, Tom Stinson and Mrs J L. Jones, of Winginia. and Mrs. W. W. Bryant, of Gladstone: and one brother. Tilden Bryant. of Madison Heights Edward C. Burial took place in the church cemetery. Mr. Gilliam, retired salesman and buyer for Thalimcrs Depart ment Store, Richmond, died Fri day. Jan. 2. at his home near Al coma. A native of Buckingham coun ty. he is survived by his wife. Mrs. Lelia Fntz Gilliam: one son. Wil liam G. Gilliam, of Richmond: one daughter, Mrs. Joseph G Varilion, of St. Paul, Minn.; one brother.
