Out in Minneapolis the National Baldheaded Club, Inc., has passed a resolution at its convention calling on barbers to lower the price for trimming the hair of men who don’t have much.
“Why should we pay as much as other guys?” the president of the club asked as he rubbed his bald spot. “We’ve called for price reductions. The present situation is grossly unfair,” he said.
But Minneapolis barbers disagreed. “Those bald-headed boys are all wrong,” said one barber. “It’s more work cutting their hair. You got to look for it first.”
This is the first big issue the bald-headed men’s club has tackled, the president announced. The club was formed a year ago to discourage men from being ashamed of bald scalps. “Everybody knows bald-headed men are generally more intelligent,” he stated, and added that the club idea has spread to Berlin, Tokyo and Hong Kong, making the organisation world-wide.
So far the president of the National Baldheaded Club, Inc., has given no answer to the age-old jokes poked at owners of cue-ball domes—such as, grass won’t grow through concrete, etc.
