Expresses Appreciation
The Rappahannock American Legion Post No. 245 wishes to express its appreciation to the children and principals of the various schools for their co-operation in making it possible .to send 150 toys to the “have not"* children of war-torn European countries.
Because of the national emergency, the railroads had to withdraw their offer to transport the toys without charge to Philadelphia; however, the National Trucking Association and the 'Wilson Trucking Company earns to the aid. in helping to solve the ^problem by agreeing to do the * hauling without charge. — W.
