John Keyser Burke, 48, who died in Langhorne, Pa., January . 17, wag buried Saturday, January 20, at the Masonic cemetery, Washington, with graveside services, IVev. N. J. Flythe'off iciat:

Pallbearers were his liephews, Trenton Burke, Charles Edward Burke, Charles Lewis Burke, Vincent Burke, Docky Burke, Clarence Baldwin, Thomas Baldwin, and L. H..Jenkins. Flowers were carried by nieces: Mrs. Margaret i Burke, Mrs. Charles Burke, Mrs. Vincent Burke, Mrs. Violet Baldwin, Mrs. Thomas Baldwin, and Mrs. Mary Ida Burke. . Mr. Burke is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Burke; three sons, John, Earl, and Gene Burke, of Washington; two sisters, his father, and eight brothers.
Among those from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Burke of ked Bank, N.J., Miss Ellie Jenkins, of Tom’s Brook, Raymond Burke, Lewis Burke, Mrs. Charles Shank and Isaiah Burke of Sperryville, and Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Burke.
Strange Animal Shot
Butch Browning and Leonard Lillard were playing on a pile of lumber in the yard at Jim Lillard’s the other afternoon, when they spotted a very peculiar looking animal under the boards.'Mr. Lillard was called and came running with a shot gun; one “bang” of the gun, and the most unusuallooking animal was dead. It was reported by Mrs. John §. Browning, the next door neighbor of Mr. and Mrs. Lillard, that she is afriad it was the first cousin of Mr. Skunk who was killed by the Brownings not so long ago.
