Mr*. Elizabeth Jaclcaon, 78, died Sunday at the Baptist Home in Culpeper. Mrs. Jackson a native of Rappahannock, had been in ill health for some time, She had • made her home with her son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke, until moving recently to the Baptist Home in Culpeper.

Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late John Andrew Pulliam and the late Jane Washington Cornell. . , .

Funeral services were held from the Baptist church in Washington Tuesday, January 23, at 3:30, interment was in the Masonic Cemetery with. Rev. M. E. Sliger and Dr. W. G. Pendleton officiating.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Guy Burke and Mrs. Mary Burke, of Washington, and Mrs. T. A. Presgraves, of Hollywood, Florida; two sons, John Evans, of Luray, and M. Kelly Jackson, of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Mrs. , Buck Dodson, of Rixeyville; five grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.

Active pallbearers were J.' W. Critzer, Clyde Jenkins, W. C. -Campbell, Ray Fincham, T. C. Lea, C. E. Giles, Golden Jenkins, and Judd Burke. • >•_

Honorary pallbearers were C. O. Oden, D. D. Miller, W. A. Miller, W. E. Compton, C. J. Miller, James Settle, R. V. Snead, Floyd Compton, Mahlon Ramey, and J. Stant Weaver.

Among those from out of town attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wood, Mr. and Sirs. John Evans and family, Mrs. T. A. Presgraves, Mrs. Frank Campbell, M. Kelly Jackson, Miss Viola Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke, and Mr. and Mrs. Buck Dodson.
