The Agricultural Agent of the county winning this distinction is awarded a trip to the International Livestock show with expenses partially paid, therefore I wish to thank the above fanners for hav-i ing made such possible. Having recently been out of the county for a week I plan to take in the 1962 International which is allowable.

C. E. Johnson Jr., reports Shen Valley Meat Packers, Inc., as having its best month since operations began- 'During October making a fairly nice profit. Ned also reports that last week the plant slaughtered 207 cattle, 1140 hogs and 84 sheep, lambs and veals. A pretty good week's work if you calculate the cost of livestock handled and the fact that November 12th was a holiday.
