H.D. members from ell the clubs in Rappahannock have been helping to make X-ray gowns to be Used by the health department in the mass X-ray clinic* February 25-26. Mrs. Frances Thornton* health nurse, was very much pleas*, ed with the number made. These., gowns were club projects-part of members furnishing materials and others making the gowns. The ladies sewing the gowns were Mrs. John Eubank, Mrs. John Woodward, Mrs. Mamie Leake, Mrs. P. D. Dennis, Mrs Frank Cary, Mrs^ Mabel Liliard, Mrs- Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Carter White, Mrs. B.Y-V Green, Mrs. Joe Durden, Mrs. 2ty> W. Brown, Mrs. Grace Reid, Mrs. Harry Rutherford, Mrs. Wade Pullen, 'Mrs. Luther Jenkins, Sr., Mrs. Milton Sisk and Mrs. Henry Sisk.
A leader training meeting for 4-H leaders was held at the home of Mrs. Clarence Scott, Wednes-? day. The leaders were receiving eome pointers on the project, “So You’d Like to Sew.”
Sperryville H.D. group met with Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Tuesday. The members discussed an assembly on good citizenship for the schools. Mrs. Qeorge Taylor, House fur-^ nishing leader, gave a demonstration on ‘''Recipes for Good Light-* ing” and meeting closed by the showing of the Green House, a sound strip film on lighting.
