Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis ■were in Fredericksburg on Friday for the George Washington Birthday celebration. While there, they were the guests of Mayor and Mrs. . MacCow. Mrs. Davis carried a cherry pie baked by her, that she had promised the Mayor of Fredericksburg. On Friday afternoon they attended a reception at Stratford Hotel, then went to the Jbanquet at Mary Washington Col-, lege, and from there to a birthday Ball down town. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Davis went to the Jackson Dinner at the John Marshall Hotel in Richmond.
