Mrs. Koy White, Jr. of Winchester and Miss Barbara Brown of Arlington were weekend guests in the home of their mother, Mrs. Catherine Brown.
Joe Reir and Dr. Bangardner, a professor at North Carolina State College, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid over the weekend. Mrs. B. R. Cannon, who for the past several months has been in Arlington hospital and later at the home of her son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pierce, at Occoquan, has returned home and is much improved in health.

John Peyton Snead IV and a fellow student of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville spent the weekend with Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead. Richard Johnson and Mrs. E. A. Tapp remain quite ill at the ir homes in the Amissville neighborhood._ Mri and Mrs. C. B . Johnson of Woodville were Luray visitors on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown motored to Charlottesville on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Beahm, who took their daughter, Beverly June, to University hospital for treatment. It is reported that the child is making progress toward recovering—following—along illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood were in Richmond Sunday until Wednesday. Mrs. F. B. Daily, who has spent the past several weeks with her mother, Mrs. John Johnson, left Woodville Friday to re urn to her Lome in Camden, N.j.
