Mrs. L. J. Turner entertained the Washington Bridge Club on Wednesday night for dessert bridge. Those playing were Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh, who won traveling prize; Mrs. Ned Jones, who won high; Mrs. Hugh Gore, who won consolation. Others playing were Mrs. Will Keyser, Mrs. J, E. Keyser, Sr., Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrsj Wade H. Massie, Jr;, and Mrs. B. M. Miller. >

W. H. Hurt and son of Batna have developed a complete farm, plan for soil and water conservation on six of their farms. The Hurt’s operate two large dairy ' farms and are gradually enlarging their beef herd of Black Angus. |
The farm plans were developed in cooperation with the Culpeper •Soil Conservation District assisted by Soil Conservation Service Technicians. Correct land use was the basis of each bf the farm plans\ stressing the proper use of lime\ and fertilizer. .f
Crop rotations, forestry Improvement, irrigation, farm drainage and wafer disposal systems ary included in the complete ’ farm~ plans. j ■
