Fox Bounty Placed
In Wakefield District
With all meiribers present, the Board of Supervisors met Wednesday.
A motion was passed placing a bounty of $3 on all gray foxes killed in Wakefield district. Richard Worthington, resident engineer, appeared before the board. A resolution, made by H. B. Wood and seconded by J. P. Cook, was passed requesting the state to condemn a small piece of property on the extension of Route 730 in Rappahannock from the Culpeper county line to Route 211. Routine bills were paid; necessary repairs to kitchen, and other rooms at the jail were authorized; and the purchase of an adding machine for the office of the Commissioner of Revenue was approved.
