A social concert will be given Sunday night, .November 15 at 8 p. m. at the First Baptist church for the benefit of the King of ludah ■Rally. •

The Choraleers of Rappahannock County will appear on a concert at First Baptist Church, Washington, October 23, at eight o'clock. Talent from Sperryville, Flint Hill, Amissville and Strasburg will assist on this program, sponsored by the King of Israel Rally. Miss Edna Stafford, director; Rev. R. C. Davis, pastor.

A pre-Halloween program will be given at the Flint Hill School, Friday, October 23 at 8 p.m.

With The 24th Infantry Division In Korea—Cpl. Walter K. Butler, sou of Mrs. Minnie Butler of Sperryville, is now undergoing intensive post-truce training with the 24th Infantry Division in Korea.

Butler, a wire team chief in Headquarters Company of the 21st Regimenf’s 1st Battalion, has served -overseas since last November. A graduate of Peabody High School in Petersburg, he entered the Army in April 1952.

There will be choir rehearsal on Thursday night at 7 :30 at First Baptist. All members are urged to come out.

There will be choir rehearsal at Hopewell Church, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. Miss E. M. Stafford will be director. .

The Hopewell Missionary Circle will meet at Mrs. Minnie Butler’s October 28 at 1:30 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Johnson of Washington, D. C. celebrated their 25th anniversary Saturday, October 17 at 5 o’clock. They received many lovely gifts and a number of friends and relatives were present. Those who attended from Washington. Ya. were Mr. and Mrs. McKinley Weathers, Mrs. Blanch* Fletcher, Mrs. Ruth Wall, Mr. Louis Carter and grandson, Junior C. Carter. The Lord blessed us and it wa« a wonderful anniversary.
