AMISSV1LLE AUXILIARY
The Ladies Auxiliary held its regular monthly meeting at the Fire Hall, Tuesday night, October 13. There were five new members: ftfrs. Lewis Smith, Mrs. Florrie Luttrell, Mrs. Ethel Hall, Mrs. Mickey Stuartr Mrs. Annie Cooke and Mrs. Ellen Laing. A stove was donated for the hall by Bernard Gough. A motion was made and passed to buy tables for the hall. A piano is also a much needed addition to the hall.
BRIDGE PARTY
Mrs. - T. C. Lea entertained the Washington Bridge Club on Thursday evening for dessert bridge. The high score prize was awarded to Mrs. L. J. Turner, and second high to Mrs. B. M. Miller. Mrs. D. D. Miller won bingo while Mrs. Bruce received the consolation przie.
Mrs. Lea’s guests were Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. W. H. Massie Jr., Mrs. C. T% Brucej. Mrs R. L. Massie, Mrs J. E. Keyser, Mrs W. F. Moffett and Mrs. D. D. Miller.
