Mrs. R. L. Massie was an overnight guest Thursday and a dinner guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller at Maple Springs.

Robert L. Massie of the University of Richmond arrived Friday evening for a week-end visit with his mother, Mrs. Robert L. Massie. Saturday evening Mrs. Massie and Bobby were supper guests of Mrs. Massie’s mother, Mrs. W. J. Kendrick and son, Dave W. of Front Royal. Sunday afternoon Mrs. Massie and Mrs. T. C. Lea motored to the University with Mr. Massie.

Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning and sons, and Mrs. E. R. Browninghad Sunday dinner at the Hy-YVy Restaurant, -

Sunday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood and family, Linda and Dudley had dinner at Guy's Restaurant.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bower sett and family were Friday night guests of Mrs. Bowersett’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Settle.

Mrs. Fannie Eastham, who underwent an appendectomy at Warren Memorial Hospital last week, returned home Sunday.

Mrs. J. M. Settle, Mrs. E. R. Browning and Mrs. B. J. Wood attended the Garden Club tour in Front Royal Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard and family of Haymarket visited relatives and friends in Flint Hill on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gene W'ood were bridge guests of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning on Monday evening. AlivN Xmrcy Atktmv-has -returned to - her home and is reported to be progressing satisfactorily. Thomas Settle of Orlando, Florida is visiting his mother, Mrs. George Settle at Locust Grove.-——1_ Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Charles Reid and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie attended the showing of “The Robe” in Washington, D. C. Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. T. M. Bradord, Mrs. P. D. Dennis, and J. G. and Ginger Russell were afternoon guests on Sunday of L. H. Luttrell in Amissville.

Miss Ginger Russell and J. G. Russell were week end guests of their, grandmother, Mrs. P. D. Dennis.

Mr. and Mrs. Lide Deering of Hollywood, California are spending this week with Mrs. Deering’s mother, Mrs. John R. Moore at Cooper’s Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. Lide Deering of Hollywood, California and Mrs. John Moore were dinner guests Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore.
