PEOLA MILLS NEWS NOTES Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Judd of Luray were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Gallihugh and son, Jeffrey are spending some time in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley, having been called home from Kyrenia, Cyprus because of the illness of Mr. Gallihugh’s father, John Gallihugh, who remains critically ill in Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh were Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Judd of Luray.
Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. R. M. Strickler were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Gallihugh and son, Jeffrey and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and son, Danny.
HALLOWEEN PARTY
A Halloween Party will be held at the Flint Hill School, Friday, October 30, at 7:30 p.m. Prizes will be given to the persons wTith the best costumes. There w’ill be home-made cakes, grab bag, and a play by the Flint Hill School children.
An all-day meeting was held on Sunday at Thornton's Gap Baptist church. Elder Daily preached at the morning hour and Elder W. T. Majors of Hyattsville, Maryland was guest speaker at the afternoon service.
