Berkley Lewis of Washington, D. C. was a week end guest of his * parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lewis.
Reports are that Russell Aylor is improving very satisfactorily at the Warren Memorial Hospital. His parents and other members of the family have been constantly visiting him.
James Russell of Washington, D. C. spent the week end with his parents, Mr! and Mrs. R. Russell.
Mr. C. Lewis and others attended the Sunday School Union at Oak Grove, Sunday.
The Christmas program for the Washington Elementary School will be held Monday night, December 21. Come out and enjoy a wonderful evening. Santa Claus will be present with loads and loads of gifts. ,
There will be choir rehearsal and meeting Thursday night at 7:30 at First Baptist church.
Services will*be conducted at First Baptist church this Sunday at 11 a.m.
Christmas services will be held at First Baptist, December 24 at 10 p.m.
The Hopewell Baptist Sunday * School will present their Christmas Tree and program on Wednesday, • December 23, at 8 p.m. The public is invited.
The Missionary Circles will have Candlelight Services at the Hopewell Baptist church on December 27 at 7:30 p.m.
_There will be a Christmas pro- ( gram at Shiloh Baptist church, Woodville, December 25 at 8 p.m. by the Sunday School. All are welcome._
