Newbill Miller arrived from VPI on Thursday evening and D. D. Miller Jr., arrived on Monday at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs.

D. p. Miller for their Christmas vacation.

Mrs. Lewis J. Turner and Mrs. George H. Davis Jr. accompanied Mr. Davis to Washington, p. C. on Monday for the day.

Mrs. Margarette Jarman of Washington, D. C. is visiting her cousin, r Mrs. E. W. Brown.

Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh and mother, Mrs. Elizabeth H. DeBergh were dinner guests of Mrs. J. N. Major in Front Royal on Sunday.

Mi's: R. L. Massie was an overnight guest Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea.

Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller of Miller Meade entertained for dinner on Thursday evening. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood and Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead.

Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller were in Charlottesville for the day, Monday. Mrs. Miller remained as an overnight guest of her daughter, Miss Louise — Strother Miller. On Monday evening, Miss Miller and her mother attended the showing of the film “John Brown’s Body.”

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller and Miss Evelyn Miller were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Brent in Richmond. Harold Estes motored to Martinsburg, West Virginia on Tuesday ac- ’ rompanied by Mrs. Estes. Mr. Es>‘es went to the Newton D. Baker hospital for a check-up. Miss N-ville Wood was an overnight guest of her grandmother, Mrs. Charles Reid.
