Mrs. F. D. Coffey spent the week end in Arlington dividing her time with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Muterspaugh and Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jones. She also visited another niece, Miss Nell Coffey, who after a lingering illness, died in the city hospital early, Sunday morning. W. N. Rector, who has been visiting his daughter, Mrs. M. Goodman and other relatives in Richmond for the past month, re-turned to his home Saturday.
Mrs: Charlie Cloud and son, Dear! Cloud, Mrs. Carson Jenkins and two daughters, Diane and Debbie of Woodville, and Mrs. Tasker Woodward and two children, Larry and Barbara were Tuesday guests of Mrs. Marion Spicer and daughter of Brandy. f
Miss Betty Lewis Snead, a student at Madison College, is spending her mid-term vacation with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead. Miss Snead had as her week-end guest a former classmate at Fairfax Hall College, Miss Armentine Leggett.
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood had as their supper guests on Tuesday evening, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller. On Sunday their guests were Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Shackleford and son. Later in the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Wood visited Miss Eda Finks.
Mr. and Mrs: A. L. Smith of Gainesville spent the week end at “Barlow” with Mrs. Smith’s mother, Mrs. Helen Bruce.
