The Sunday School lesson for Feb. 14 covers chapters 7 and 8 of John. This is a very important lesson in that Jesus asserts His Diety and also claims to be the Light of the World. He also manifested Himself as the way to true freedom and the sinless one. The one eternal and always in cooperation with the Father., Each succeeding chapter of John’s Gospel reveals more and more the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. Our lesson gives us Jesus’ own interpretation of Himself in that He explained Himself as the water of Life and illustrated His point by the symbolic use of the pouring of water at the feast.
