Rev. A. Paul Thompson and their baby girl, Ann Rodes were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Yowell in the F. T. Valley. On Wednesday, Rev. and Mrs. Thompson and baby were Charlottesville visitors._
Among those from town who attended the Ice Capades in Washington, D. C. on Tuesday were Miss Ruth Menefee, Fielding Menefee, Robert Estes, Mrs. Clarice iMunday and Mrs. R. E. Thompson.
Mrs. Annie Taylor Bruce has returned to her home here after a short visit in Front Royal and had as her guests in the home of her daughter, Mrs. , C. Ennis Brown and Mr. Brown during the week end, Mrs. H. G. Wayland of Castleton and her two ■daughters, Mrs. Johnny Hyman, Mrs. Harry Imbach of Silver Springs, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bruce of Front Royal.
Maury W. Brown, a patient at McGuire Hospital in Richmond, accompanied by his son and daughter, Allen Brown and Mrs. Julian Ragan and her small son, Donnie spent the week end with Mrs. Maury Brown and Miss Jean Brown. On Saturday night additional guests in the Brown home were Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland and son, Chucky, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore and two sons, Donald and Eddie, Mrs. Helen Bruce and daughter and son, Mary Helen and Francis Bruce and Henry A. Brown, Jr. Mrs. Maurice Shirey of Front Royal joined her family for dinner on Sunday.
