What's come over the people of Washington to make them so efferent from other people. I read an article in a Richmond paper the other day where our mayor had stated that the Town of Washington had money, but the people of the town would not ask for anything so the money could be spent.
Isaac C. Clater Dies Of Heart Attack
Isaac Clinton Clater died suddenly early Sunday morning at his residence at Sperryville.
Mr. Clater, 60 years of age,, was the son of the late Isaac Clater and Mrs. Mary Dodson Clater of Rappahannock County.-H? was an employee of the Virginia Department of Highways.
Graveside funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the family section of the Sperryville Cemetery. Rev. H., G. Thach, assisted by Rev. Paul Thompson, conducted the funeral rites. . Mr. Clater is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Jefferson Clater of Sperryville; two sons, Robert C. and Charles R. Clater of Warrenton; three sisters, Mrs. Carlton Atkins, Spdrryville, Mrs. Robert Frye, Woodville, and Mrs. Harry Woodward, Elkton; one brother, Otis Clater, Sperryville; and seven grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Dr. J. P. Snead, James A. Dodson, J. W. Fletcher, D. L. Miller, William Lyne, P. Lee Thornton, Jack Bruce and R. ID. Wood. / * Honorary pallbearers were J. B.
