Mrs, Merritt Greeley has been called to Washington, D. C. by. the death of her mother, Mrs. Arthur Wells. Mrs. Wells had, been ill for some time. Mrs. Greeley will continue to stay in Washington for some time.
Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Williams had as their guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. James Riley and “ children of Rockville, Maryland, They also visited Mrs. Riley's, _ brother, Albert Cameron and * family and several other families in and around Chester Gap.
Mrs. Galen Reel of Williams-’ ^ burg and Miss Evefyn Mills visited their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam North, Saturday.
