Jackie Sisk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sisk of Sperryville, has been chosen 4-H’er for the month of May.

Although Jackie is only 14 years old he has been a member of the Sperryville 4-H club for 3 year and is now a active member of the Washington Sr. 4-H Club.

Jackie’s long suit in 4-H is his interest in livestock. He has taken a wide variety of projects in his 4 years of club work and has completed very good work in all of them.

His principal work has been with sheep. Starting with 5 ewes in his farm flock project four years *go he hasr increased his sheep number to 12 and 14 lambs. He will show and sell his lambs again this year at the Harrisonburg 4-H Lamb Show and Sale. He has shown a net profit of $214.20 on his sheep in addition to collecting $50.00 in prize money. Jackie received pair of electric shears in his sheep project and has attended the 4-H sbeep shearing school each year; consequently he shears his own sheep and has placed second in the sheep shear
