Miss Annie Almond Entertains At Dinner
Miss Annie Miller Almond entertained friends from Herndon, Bristow and Floris, Saturday afternoon at five in her home on Main Street. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Evans, Mrs. Willis Burton ^ndMiss Emma Ellmore of Herndon, Mrs. Frank Peck, Mrs. Annie Lou Bradley, Mrs. Eunice Middleton, Mrs. Louise Harrison and Anthony Lucero of Fla., and Mrs. James Yarger of Bristow were included among the guests. Friends of Miss Almond’s invited to meet her out-of-county guests were Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher, Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Snead, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead, Miss Mary Miller Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Bruce. Following a social hour at her home, Miss Almond and her guests motored to Lee Highway Hotel in Sperryville for dinner.
