Firemen’s Carnival
Opened Monday Night
As the ferris wheel moves swiftly, its star of spokes glittering and the bomber glides gracefully in its arc, from the twister comes shrill laughter and from the kiddie boats, happy “clang clangs." . . . With all its charms, the carnival has come to the world of youth. -Not-confuring itself—to—the younger set, the carnival in Washington this week of August 2-7, has drawn, with its attractions, etfery age to enjoy the numerous games, sticky apples and the carnival hot dog.
Behavior at the Washington Firemen’s carnival has been excellent due largely to the cleanness, of* the show itself.
Among displays on the grounds is the Washington Rescue Squad Car and its equipment including the Oxygen Equipment, First Aid Kit, stretchers and splints.
A deep freeze will be given away by^ the Fire Company as a grand climax to the carnival on Saturday night. Each night free prizes are given to persons attending the carnival.
With only three more nights remaining of the festivities, the time is short for you £q make plans for the Washington Carnival.
