In competition with numerous other troops, Flint Hill Boy Scout Troop 36 was chosen 3 days as the honor troop during their week of camping at Camp Rock Enon at Gore, July 25-August 1.

The Scouts were rated fourth when matched with 10 other troops in Field Day events on Saturday.

Scout Master Paul Nichols, Dudley Wood and Johnny Browning, Star Scouts ; Glenn Williams,' Buddy and Bobby Moore, Second Class; and Tenderfeet Marvin Bradford, III, Larry Carpenter and Bobby Sealock took part in; every available educational activity and placed winners in many, events.

Dudley Wood and Johnny Browning were awarded Nature Merit Badges and Firemanship Badges while Buddy Moore received an honor merit for Firemanship.

Eight points were won by the Scouts as they placed fourth in, the Saturday Field Day, where the following placings were awarded: Bobby Sealock, 3rd, Sitting Down Broad Jump; Larry Carpenter and Marvin Bradford, 3rd, String Burning; Johnny Browning, 2nd, Undressing Race; Dudley Wood, 3rd, Tembcr Hitch; Dudley Wood and Buddy Moore, 2nd, Potato Relay; Bobby Moore, 3rd, Steam Boat Race. ■ .
