School At Amissville

Commencement exercises for the Amissville Baptist Church Vacation Bible School were conducted Friday night, July 30 with each department presenting a resime of their week’s activities.

Many articles which had been made in handicraft classes were gn display, including boudoir dolls, fashioned—by the intermediate girls, bookends, built by the intermediate girls, small doll beds made in the junior girls’ class and numerous other products of hours of patient work.

Ninty-eight pupils and workers enrolled in the Bible School by Friday with an average daily at—tendance for the week of 84.

An offering was taken each day for missions; this offering amounted to $15.00. Friday night’s offering went to defray the expenses of materials and refreshmentsr

Miss Helen Craddock of Charlottesville advised and assisted the faculty and workers in their guidance of the pupils.

The teachers of the, school would like to thank all of those interested persons who helped to make the Bible School the success it undoubtedly was.
