■ The Shenandoah Area Council, ■Boy Scouts of America, will
paunch its Annual Finance Campaign
in Rappahannock, Morgan, | I Jefferson, Clarke, Shenandoah and ’Page counties on October 4. Friends of Scouttng^~Throughoutthese counties will be called upon ; and given the opportunity to sup\ port the Boy Scout Movement. It is a challenge to every community to see that everyone so desiring is afforded the opportunity to give.
As a result of funds raised in the campaign the Council will be able to continue its program of activities in bringing a greater and finer program of Scouting to the youth of the Council area. The funds raised are used in providing training for the Scout Leaders of the Council, promoting the advancement program in the Scout v Units, providing badges and awards foF Cubs and Scouts, the promotion of Health & Safety Programs in connection with Scouting, the servicing of Units in —strengthening their programs, the organization of new Units, th<T promotion of District and Council activities that all Units of the Council may enjoy and participate in Summer Camp, Jamborees, Rallies, ^nd many other Scouting events. '
