ORDER OF PUBLICATION
At a meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Rappahann ock County held on Sept. 1, 1954, the following resolution was passed by the Board:
WHEREAS, Title 4, Section 97 of the 1950 Code of Virginia provides for ordinances regulating' time of sale of WINE and BEER, and
WHEREAS* the Boa rid of Supervisors may by ordinance prohibit the sale of BEER and WINE, or Either Beer or Wine, between the hours of twelve o’clock post meridian of each Saturday and Six o’clock ante meridian of each Monday, or may fix hours in said period during which Wine and Beer, or either, may be sold, and may prescribe fines and other penalties for violations of any such —ordinances, and_
WHEREAS, the Board desires to hear the views of citizens of the County FOR and AGAINST the adoption of ordinances pro. hibiting the sale of Wine and Beer, or either as herein before mentioned.
Thereupon Supervisor W. C. Campbell moved that'the Board of Supervisors requests all interested citizens of the County to appear before the Board at its next regular meeting to be held on October 6, 1954, at ten o’Clock A.M. to ‘ discuss ordinances regulating time of sale of Wine and Beer in Rappahannock County. This Motion was seconded by Supervisor Buckner and being put to a vote was unanimously "approved by all members present.
The Clerk of this Board will cause a copy of this resolution to be published in the Rappahannock News, in the issues of September 16th,-23rd, and 30th. A Copy— Teste: Ruth Stevens, Dep. Clerk.
