Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood and family, Armenta, Ruth and Burrell of Blacksburg were weekend guests of their aunt, Mrs. Russell Wood and Miss Ruth Stevens. Mr. Wood has recently been appointed an instructor in. Agriculture Dept, at VPI. Mrs. Dudley Wood, their mother, who. has been on an extended visit with her family and Dr. and Mrs. F. L. Roberson, returned to her home with Mr. and Mrs. Wood.
Walter Krause, who has a position in Washington, D. C. spent a week-end with his family but was unable to return to work because of sickness.
Mrs. Emory Russell, who under went an appendectomy operation on Tuesday at Warren Hospital, Front Royal, returned home Sunday. Mrs: W. A. Moore Jr. is substituting in the Flint Hill National Bank while Mrs. Russell is absent.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood and children, Minnie, Ruth and Burrell were week-end guests of Mrs. Russell Wood and Miss Ruth Stevens. Mrs. Dudley Wood returned to her home, Sunny Slope with the Woods, following a visit with them in Blacksburg and a visit to Dr. and Mrs. Roberson, also of Blacksburg.
Rev. and Mrs. G. M. Profitt and sons attended the meeting held in the Culpeper Baptist Church, Monday evening.
Mrs. Frank Jones, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. C. G. Reid, Mrs. John Updike, Miss Becky Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert. Updike, Mrs. H. J. Racer, Mrs. C. R. Racer and A. J. Slaughter attended the Centenial Services at the First Baptist Church in Flint Hill Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Georgev Miller and family of Winchester were week-end guests of Mrs. Will Devers and Mrs. George Devers.
