The Annual Fall Festival of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department opened on Thursday, September 23, with the arrival of the Queen at the carnival grounds in the lead of a small motorcade.
Mary Ann Hall was awarded the crown by the Honorable Tom Frost of Warrenton. She was dressed in a long, white, sheer, hooped gown and carried a bouquet of long stem red roses.
