WINS GREASE JOB
Clarence Baldwin of Washington won a “grease job” by coming close to guessing the correct number of balloons in a car during the recent activities centering around the introduction of the “new Chevrolet.” This contest was sponsored by the Parkway Chevrolet in Front Royal.
Mr. Baldwin, who doesn’t know just how close he was to winning the grand prize, states that this is the first time he has ever won in such a contest.

Among the out-of-town guests who came to Washington to attend the funeral of W. E. Compton were A. C. Compton and family, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Compton and William of Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Compton of Pulaski, Mrs. Mollie Wagner and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Eugene Wagner.
Mrs. Charles Compton remained for a few days visit with Miss Margaret Compton at her home in town.
