This week, November 1-7, is National F. H. A.'Week. The Future Homemakers of America is the national organization of pupils studying home economics in high schools in the United States and Territories. -The purposes of the organization are as follows:
1. To promote a growing appreciation of the joys and satisfactions of* homemaking. -
2. To emphasize the importance of worthy home membership.
3. To encourage democracy in home and community life.
4. To work for good home and i family life for all. • -— -
5. To promote international good will.
6. To foster the development of creative leadership in home and community life. . '
7. To provide wholesome individual and group recreation.
8. To further, interest in home economics.
The Rappahannock Chapter F.H.A. has 80 members this year. These members will attend the W. R. F. C. Federation meeting, Friday, November 5 at Warren County High School. Members will present a skit on Family Recreation.
