HALLOWEEN PARTY
Mrs. L. J. Kilby entertained at a very attractive Halloween Party on Friday night for her daughter and son, Tish and Tim. Those invited were Dollie Smith, Peachy Lyne, Bucky Fletcher, Edna Yates Schaefer, Diane Bruce, Lee Thornton III, Ed Lynn Menefee, John LeeTaylor, Joe Brown and Manley Bruce. After the youngs, ters enjoyed a hay ride, games were played in the home and the hostess served refreshments.

Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett had as her dinner guests on Thursday evening at the Lee Highway Hotel, Mrs. ,J. N. Major, Mrs. Brooke Moffett and < daughter, Robin. On Saturday, Mrs. Moffett had as her over night guest her son, Dr. Brooke Moffett of .Norfolk, who was enroute to Washington, D. G. to attend the meeting of the Medical Society.
Miss Lucy Conrad spent from Thursday to Sunday in Richmond where she attended the annual meeting of the teachers association.
Miss Lucy Mason of Charles Town, W. Va. and Mrs. David Estopenal of Washington, D. C. spent the week end with Mrs. Harriett Broy, who has closed her home in Arlington and is wintering at the Lee Highway Hotel.
Mrs. Kitty Strother of Salem arrived Monday to spend the winter months at the Lee Highway Hotel.
