The County 4-H Achievement Day will be held at the Rappahannock High School, Friday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. A 4-H Achievement Day is the crowning event of the club year It emphasizes the importance of work well done and affords a splendid means of giving recognition to club members and those who have aided in the club program. With this as their objective the planning committee, Lelia Gentry, Betty Rutherford, Glen Updike and Jimmy Yates, have an achievement program that includes presenting of county- medals or awards; recognition of leaders and sponsors; reports of outstanding activities as county camp, county council by 4-H members ; and exhibits of years work by each club.
A party is planned for the dub having the largest percentage of parents, 4-H members and friends present. The 4-H’ers invite everyone who is interested in helping the members “to m'ake the best better.”
